Hi everyone! We found 3 new people to teach this week! That's really exciting. Two of them are a young family with a 3-month-old, and the other one is a guy, also with a family. We also tried to put on a small Sunday worship service, just for the people we're teaching, because we only have church once every three weeks right now. Unfortunately, all 3 people we invited and got to commit bailed on is. Super frustrating. Fortunately, church is going to start back up every week after conference. It should be a lot easier then. General Conference is coming up. I'm super excited for it. How are you guys preparing for it? It's still pretty smoky here. The Cameron Peak fire is the third-largest fire in Colorado history, and it's on track to be the biggest. I think part of it is in our area, too. Don't worry though,  it's pretty far from Wellington. Here are some pictures. A few are from disc golf today, and there's one from a bad picture of the red moon we had...

P-day was switched to Monday because they had Zone Conference Tuesday. Hey everyone!  It's been a good week here in Wellington. I've seen some cool things, including a time when a woman drove up to us and asked to talk to us. I was worried she was trying to bash with us, but she asked us where she could get food because she needed some help.  We got to talk to her about the gospel, share a few scriptures, clear up some misconceptions about the church, and give her a Book of Mormon. It was really cool, especially considering our difficulty recently finding new people to teach. Hopefully, things are turning around.  It's still really smoky here because of the Cameron Peak fire, as well as the other fires in other states. It makes for some cool sunsets but pretty crappy days and air quality.  Things have been pretty chill here otherwise. If you guys want, you can pray for Jeremiah that he'll find relief from his crazy stressful life. He's been dealing with some struggl...

A couple of notes...

Ethan's letters are super short.  I think this is an effect of talking to us twice a week.  When it comes to writing letters, he doesn't feel like he has anything to say.  So here are some little tidbits that he shared with us this week. They finally got a couch for their new apartment.  There is a nicer part of the zone and the zone leaders were able to pick up a nice leather couch for them and it was FREE!  So now they have beds, desks, and a couch.  What more could Elder's need? Their new apartment doesn't have WIFI.  So when Ethan calls we have to try and do it over their data plan, which is unlimited, but makes it kind of hard because it is slow.  So he will ask a question but we won't hear it for 10-15 seconds.  It made talking this morning really hard because we couldn't tell what response was to which question.  Hopefully, they will get it figured out. There is a huge frisbee golf park in Ethan's area.  Today they went there...

Hello! How are you all? Things are going well here. It's honestly been a pretty regular week. I haven't met any crazy people, unfortunately. I've seen a lot of blessings though. We're slowly finding more people to teach, and those that we are teaching currently are progressing slowly but surely.  I'm glad it snowed last Tuesday. It really helped the fires over here. Too bad it all melted the day after, and the temperature is back up to 80.  Thanks for all of your support. Here are a few pictures. I didn't get a lot and I have trouble sending videos because I have a few funny ones of the elders in my district tasing each other. Oh well. Love you! See ya! Hey everybody! I hope you're all doing well. I've had a pretty good week. The weather right now is cold and snowy, and the weather yesterday was warm and smoky, because of the Cameron Peak Fire. The weather here is pretty weird.  We were able to go up to Red Feather Lakes a few days ago to visit some families. It's a small town a lot like Pine Valley, for those of you in St. George. It's good we went when we did, because a day later they all got evacuated because of the fire. So that was a tender mercy. It's really beautiful up there, though. I'm glad we got to go when we did. Something that I've been noticing a lot lately are blessings in my life. We're blessed with so many things and it really helps me when I count the ways I've been blessed. How have you been blessed? Well, thanks for supporting me and reading this thing. It means a lot. I hope you all have a great day! From, Elder Pack Here are some pictures from Red Feather Check out the hilario...

Hey everyone!  It's been a pretty good week here in Wellington. My companion and I finally got our own apartment. Up until now, we were staying with the other Wellington elders. Our apartment is pretty empty so far, but we're hoping to grab a few free couches or something haha. Right now, we're focusing on finding new people to teach. We're teaching a few people right now, but it's been slow going. I know that if we put in our best effort, God will place people in our path that are ready to hear the gospel. It's starting to get a little colder here. I'm not sure if I've shared that facebook meme yet, but apparently its gonna get a lot colder here, which I'm excited for. Itll be a lot different than St. George, that's for sure. Well, thanks for all of your love and support. I really appreciate it. See ya, Ethan
