Elder Pack

Everyone! Here is the update on Ethan for the week. Ethan had an exciting p-day last week.   His big news was that he made a hole-in-one in disc golf!  He was pretty excited.  He hasn't seen anyone do that before so it was really cool.  He said they didn't expect it so no one has it on video but we believe him. He also ate a dried ghost pepper.  He said he ate it and it was really hot.  For some reason, the older elders began running around the church building (Ethan didn't know why) so he had to follow them because he couldn't be away from his companion.  By the time they got all the way around the building, it was hurting a lot.  Ethan thinks he drank about a gallon of water trying to cool the water off.  Afterward, his stomach began hurting and he said the ghost pepper was painful to digest.  But he learned his lesson.   Hey everyone! Hope your week has been great. Things have been pretty normal here. Most of the people we're teaching are super flaky so I'm not sure how much longer we're going to be teaching them. But the ward is pretty good. We get fed pretty good which is a blessing haha.  The only other thing I really have is that I had a great study of alma chapters 40 and 41 in the Book of Mormon. It talks about the plan of salvation and what happens after we die. You should all check it out. I made a list of all the stuff we learn from those chapters and it's pretty  awesome .   Hi guys! Things are good here. I'm going to be staying in Wellington for another 6 weeks with Elder Unruh. I'm excited. We're making progress with some of those that we're teaching. Some others might have to get dropped, unfortunately. They just aren't progressing anymore. We did some service at Laughing Buck Farm. We cleaned out a chicken coop. It didn't smell or anything; it was just really dusty. It was a great day, though. The wind we had over the past few days blew away most of the smoke, so it was really clear. We went to talk to a guy we're teaching to tell him that he had to keep commitments or we can't come over. He kept changing the subject to talk about other random stuff, so we didn't get very far. In fact, he gave us some disc golf discs he had. So now we're going to play disc golf on Saturday and try to set some expectations there. It was just a really weird situation.
