Elder Pack

  Hey everyone! Hope your week has been great. Things have been pretty normal here. Most of the people we're teaching are super flaky so I'm not sure how much longer we're going to be teaching them. But the ward is pretty good. We get fed pretty good which is a blessing haha.  The only other thing I really have is that I had a great study of alma chapters 40 and 41 in the Book of Mormon. It talks about the plan of salvation and what happens after we die. You should all check it out. I made a list of all the stuff we learn from those chapters and it's pretty  awesome . H ey everyone!  Hope your week has been going good. Things have been good here. Nothing really notable but it's been a good week nevertheless. I figured I should share a quick scripture with you all because otherwise, this email would be too short haha. Mosiah 14:5, in the Book of Mormon, is my favorite scripture. The prophet Nephi is quoting Isaiah when he says, "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed." That verse is talking about Jesus Christ and his atonement. Because of what Christ willingly went through (his stripes), we can be healed of our problems and sins. Hi everyone! I hope things are going good with you all. We have been seeing a lot of blessings here, which is always  awesome . Also, there is only one week until transfers, so I'll see if I'm staying or leaving on Sunday. This is a good area and like I've said, I've seen a lot of miracles and blessings here. One cool thing that happened was that we got to teach the plan of salvation to a family, and they really liked it.  Also, we got to go to a sweat with someone we're teaching out on the reservation. That was really cool. Definitely different than anything I've ever done, that's for sure.   Hey everyone! It has been a pretty great week here in Riverton.  Shawn, our miracle referral, is progressing so fast and is now on date to be baptized! Everyone please pray for him that he will continue to progress and make the right choices. We haven't even talked about the word of wisdom and he has already thrown away his vape, tobacco, and other stuff like that. His faith is so amazing!  Other than that, it has been a pretty normal week. We've been making slow but steady progress with the other people we're teaching.  On another note, we were gonna go fishing with a less active member I ran into on Facebook, but he crashed his car in Billings so we will hopefully go next week. I'm not sure what we're going to be doing today yet, but it will probably be something fun. Hopefully, haha. Thanks  for all of your support.   Hi guys! Things are good here. I'm going to be staying in Wellington for another 6 weeks with Elder Unruh. I'm excited. We're making progress with some of those that we're teaching. Some others might have to get dropped, unfortunately. They just aren't progressing anymore. We did some service at Laughing Buck Farm. We cleaned out a chicken coop. It didn't smell or anything; it was just really dusty. It was a great day, though. The wind we had over the past few days blew away most of the smoke, so it was really clear. We went to talk to a guy we're teaching to tell him that he had to keep commitments or we can't come over. He kept changing the subject to talk about other random stuff, so we didn't get very far. In fact, he gave us some disc golf discs he had. So now we're going to play disc golf on Saturday and try to set some expectations there. It was just a really weird situation.
