 Hey everyone!

Hope your week has been great. Things have been pretty normal here. Most of the people we're teaching are super flaky so I'm not sure how much longer we're going to be teaching them. But the ward is pretty good. We get fed pretty good which is a blessing haha.

The only other thing I really have is that I had a great study of alma chapters 40 and 41 in the Book of Mormon. It talks about the plan of salvation and what happens after we die. You should all check it out. I made a list of all the stuff we learn from those chapters and it's pretty awesome.

Thanks for all your support!

PS: Don't ask about the pictures of the frog and...whatever that is...because I just don't know. 😉

Ethan is doing well but he is adjusting to Colorado.  I think he misses his all-elder District.  He doesn't want to play slaughter ball and risk hitting a sister in the face with the ball. haha!  So they are playing other games and just chilling on p-day.

It's good to see that he hasn't lost his joy of making faces when trying to take a picture. ;)

They had Zone Conference last week. Ethan really liked going to Zone Conference.  He said it was a great meeting. One of the women who made their lunches posted a video of them singing "Called to Serve" to thank those who fed them.  They added an extra verse specific to their mission and it was fun to watch/listen to.  I made a comment and quickly a man commented to let me know that Ethan is serving in his ward.

I thought it was very sweet. I told Ethan and he knew just who it was.  The man loves the missionaries and always friends them when they join the mission, even if he doesn't know them.  When Ethan showed up in Loveland, the man knew just who he was!  It's fun to make those connections.

Ethan and his companion helped in the soup kitchen last Thursday and they are going to do it again this week.  He said they didn't do much.  They swept the floor for an hour then went outside with everyone to watch the Veteran's Day parade.  Ethan thinks they expect them to make it a weekly service project.  He said it wasn't too bad.

The funny story of the week is about a drunk woman.  Ethan and his companion were leaving someone's house when a woman from next door yelled at them.  She told them she wanted to learn more but that she was a little drunk so she wasn't sure how much she would understand.  Ethan said it was 5 pm on Sunday and she was already drunk so "it must have been a good morning."  They taught her a short lesson but when they asked if they could come back later when she wasn't drunk, she said she didn't know if she would be receptive to them if she wasn't drunk.  She said she mainly wanted to talk to them because she was bored.  Ethan rolled his eyes and said they won't be going back.

He is adjusting to the Loveland drivers.  He drives 7 miles over the speed limit and is still not able to keep up with the flow of traffic.  He said he just has to get used to being the slowest one on the road.

There was a concern that they wouldn't be invited anywhere for Thanksgiving because they are new to the area.  But a family invited them so they have someplace to go.  It's an older couple who have their grandchildren living with them.  He said there is a 7-year-old boy in the house that is hilarious.  Ethan loves it when the boy prays because he says some of the funniest things.  I think they will have a good Thanksgiving.

Ethan commented that he had a really good personal study last week.  He mentioned it above.  I love hearing about his progress and how he is doing.

That's about it.
