 Hi Everyone!

This week was good because of Christmas but slower with teaching. For Christmas, we got to eat dinner with the other Fort Collins zone missionaries. We did a talent show too, and I learned how to do a card trick just for it (I had to do something). We also got to watch the movie "Fighting Preacher", which is a good movie. I had already seen it but it's good.

It snowed here and so we got to go around and help people shovel their driveways. It was nice to help people out.

Like I said, it was a bit of a slow week. But thanks for all of your support! I hope you all had a great Christmas!

PS.  This is Michelle.  Since Ethan talks to us each week, he doesn't put much detail in his letters.  I thought I would tell you a little about his Christmas.  He was spoiled!  Thank youto everyone who sent him packages, cards, letters, and food.  I think he has enough chocolate to last him until Halloween.  haha!  But it made his day to be thought of by so many people.

On Christmas Eve, the wife of the ward Elder's Quorum president asked the missionaries in their ward to block off a 3-hour time block and meet at her house.  When they got there, she sent them on a scavenger hunt through the ward.  Members gave them food and gifts and the missionaries did service for the members.  Ethan said it was a lot of fun and they got a bunch of stuff.  It took a lot of their miles for the month, but he said it was worth it.

Christmas morning, a family brought them breakfast.  Ethan said they had bacon, sausage, and some scone thing with a candy coating on it.  We got to talk to him Christmas morning and he opened his presents while on Messenger with us.  It was fun to watch him open everything. He said it was weird because he didn't have to take turns opening gifts.  Well, he didn't open the gifts from the ward because he was saving those for later to open with his companion.  Ethan was really touched by all the letters that were sent to me that I put together in a book.  He said he would read them later.

Again, he had a great day and is doing really well.  Thanksfor all your support of him!
