Hey everyone!

To be honest, this week was pretty normal. Shawn, the person on date, is in Texas right now. That won't be a problem if we can get in contact with him so he can still be on date. He still seems really motivated to be baptized, but now he just has to stay that way so we can have zoom lessons with him.

Also, we taught seminary these last 2 days, and we'll be doing it the rest of this week too. We have to be there at 6:30. It's definitely a new experience. Haha. Now I know what it feels like when the class doesn't talk. Haha.

PS.  I had people ask about the pictures from last week so I asked Ethan.  

The "Elder Snack" picture story: There is an elder in his district who takes pictures of missionary's tags and then uses some photo editing software on his phone to change the names.  So, Ethan's tag was changed to "Elder Snack."

The stuffed lamb was found by an elder at the church and it has become their district mascot.  They call it Lily.  They take pictures with Lily.

Some notes:

They played "Zombie" as a district for p-day in the cultural hall of the Church.  It's like tag, kind of.  Ethan said it was a lot of fun.

A member gave them "Rootbeer Flavored Milk."  It sounds gross but, when you think about it, isn't that just a rootbeer float?

They have been helping an investigator remodel his house.  Ethan helped with his flooring on Monday for about 2 1/2 or 3 hours.  He is learning all kinds of new skills on his mission.  The other elders showed up late so they were given the job of demolition in one room.  Ethan wanted that punishment because he would have rather destroyed things than lay flooring.

They haven't had time to do the sweat lodge but he is hoping they can do that soon.  The guy also keeps telling them that he needs to do a "cedar blessing" over them but they run out of time.  Ethan isn't sure what that is but is curious.

It has been a really mild winter in Wyoming so Ethan hasn't had snow or a lot of wind.  He may have dodged a bullet this year.  In fact, their apartment gets so hot that they are sleeping with the windows open.  They can't figure out how to control the temperature. 

I think that was all he mentioned when we talked to him.
