Hey everyone!

I hope that this is are going good for all of you. This week has been pretty good. We started teaching some cool people and did some fun service at someone's house. I'll make sure to include some pictures.

For pday today, we're playing volleyball and stuff. Then we're going to go and spend some time at a rec center. Fun stuff.
Other than that, things are pretty normal.

Thanks for all your support! See ya!
Love, Elder Pack

PS: Ethan told us that they have been teaching an investigator who is slowly progressing. At one of their last appointments, his roommate decided to sit in and is actually progressing faster than the original guy.  So Ethan was happy about that.

They have been playing basketball with the youth in the 2 wards they serve in.  They play with one ward on one day and the other ward on the other day.  They are trying to get the parents to help the missionary work but befriending their youth.  Ethan is definitely getting a lot of exercise on his mission.

Ethan told us that winter sports and water sports are prohibited for missionaries but mountain biking isn't.  His mission president takes his mountain bike to Zone Conferences when it is near the mountains and takes missionaries mountain biking.  Ethan is hoping to be invited one time so he can get his fix.  He said the next time he has an interview with President Palmer, he is going to mention that he mountain bikes to see what happens. 😉

July 1st is his halfway point and Ethan is doing well with clothes and everything but admitted that he probably should dry clean his suits and ties.  He took us into his closet to show us all the stains on his ties.  Crazy kid! He has one tie that he is using a sewing needle to keep together.  I told him he could use the sewing needle to actually sew the tie shut so he wouldn't have a needle in his tie.  He said that was a good idea and he probably should do that "someday."  Yeah, not holding my breath on that one. 😉 He said that he went out with way more stuff than he needed.  But he is grateful for the oodles of ties we sent with him because he can rotate them easily and doesn't have to wash them.  He is going to send a bunch of stuff home that he has accumulated so he doesn't have to keep lugging it around the mission with transfers.

Next Wednesday is transfer day.  I forgot to ask him how many new missionaries will be going into the mission but I would suspect it is quite a few because it is summer and that's when they have a huge influx.  Ethan doesn't think he is going anywhere but you never know.  He didn't think that about his last area and he was only there for one transfer.  He finds out on Sunday when the mission president makes the transfer doc available.  So we will hear about it on Tuesday.
