Hey everyone!

This week has been great. David was baptized last Saturday and he is doing great! We took a couple pictures but they're pretty bad haha.

In other news, I'm going to be staying here for another transfer and I'll be training again. So I think this transfer is going to be pretty good. I'll find out who my companion is tonight.

Other than that, not much else is going on. Things are going good. Thanks for all your support!

Love, Elder Pack

PS:  Ethan hasn't written in a while (silly kid!) so I will try and update you on what has been going on in his life.

Ethan and Elder Wright have been teaching David for a while and David had other dates for baptism that didn't work out.  David is a friend of someone in the Casper 2nd ward.  Ethan was super excited when David finally decided he wanted to be baptized.  He had been attending Church, even attending once while he was on vacation in Denver, but had a few concerns he needed to figure out before taking the next step. They had a really cool experience with his last week where David said he knew it was true and he needed to be baptized but Satan had been working on him.  He decided to commit and be baptized.  Ethan said it was a really cool baptism and he was the one who got to do the baptizing.  It was such a big blessing.

Transfers are Tuesday/Wednesday.  Ethan's greenie flies in today and then will spend the night with some other missionaries before getting on the Transfer Bus to go to Wyoming.  Ethan will find out who it is tonight but he won't meet him until tomorrow.  And Elder Wright won't be leaving their area until tomorrow when the transfer bus gets to Wyoming.  Ethan said he isn't as nervous to train this time around and feels more relaxed.  Having the extra time in the mission before getting another greenie is sure to help a lot.

Ethan is still in a district of all elders.  He said it has been great.  ;)  He thinks they may be the only district in the mission without sisters in it.  Sisters help temper the egos so Ethan has felt bad for their District Leader.  But he said things are all good and the District Leader is getting a transfer

The tie saga continues.  If you don't know about the saga of the ties, Ethan hasn't washed or cleaned his ties since he got to the mission and he told me they were getting pretty dirty.  I emailed Missionary Mall (where we got them all) and was told that they were machine washable as long as it was a gentle cycle with cold water.  I told Ethan to do that and....the ties all fell apart.  So last week I had to find his ties that he had left home and sent them to Wyoming so he would at least have more than 3 ties.  He got them and is grateful but I was kind of frustrated that it didn't work.  Ethan said a missionary told him that you can wash them as long as you roll them up and put them in a sock first.  I tried it on one of Bryan's ties and it worked.  Live and learn.

I don't know what to say about this picture....
