Hey everyone!
This week was good as normal. We had some great lessons with Michael. He is almost ready to get baptized on the 30th. It is so cool. I might not be here to see it because transfers are on the 27th. It is still great though.
I'll attach a bunch of pictures. There are some good ones this week.
Thanks everyone for your support. It means a lot.
Have a good week!
From, Elder Pack
PS: Here is the information about the pictures. I'm not sure what order they are in so I will try to make it easy to understand.
There were 3 young men from the ward Ethan is serving in who have just left on their own missions. Ethan took a picture with his companion and one of the future elders after the future elder's farewell. Missionaries are looking younger and younger to me!
They were sharing a message with a family and the dog didn't want Ethan to leave. He went over and stood on Ethan's foot. Ethan said it was pretty funny.
There was a house they went to visit that was quite a bit out of town. Ethan took a picture so we could see the area.
There are a couple of sky pictures. One is of the sunrise and the other is of the clouds in the morning. They have some pretty skies in Wyoming.
Some members took the elders to a restaurant to eat dinner and they had a bunch of movie memorabilia outside. Ethan couldn't resist getting on the dinosaur and taking a picture. You can see Daffy Duck over his shoulder.
Ethan is doing well. He is feeling like it is time for a transfer so we will wait and see what he says next week. He has been training for the past 2 transfers and thinks that his companion is ready to get another companion. Ethan has noticed that, after they do exchanges, that his companion is more talkative. He thinks it's because his greenie relies on him a lot but doesn't have that crutch when Ethan isn't around. So we will see.
It is supposed to snow today. Ethan said they were supposed to get a bunch of snow last week and it said a few times that it was raining, but when he looked out the window it wasn't raining or snowing. So Ethan doesn't know if they will really get all the snow that is forecasted. He doesn't believe the forecast.
The District is going to play Nerf Gun wars today. They are hoping that it will snow in the afternoon so those who had to drive up to Casper to be with the district will have to spend the night. They are hilarious!
For those worried about Ethan's suits, he took them to the dry cleaners to get cleaned and also to be repaired. If you don't know the story, about 6 months into Ethan's mission, his suits started to fall apart. Being Ethan, he got a bunch of safety pins and pinned his suit back together. I asked him when he had been out a year how his suits were holding up and he admitted that they were falling apart. He did take them in and got them fixed so he is all put back together. And he has plenty of ties...thanks to everyone who sent him one after his fell apart. He is set for the rest of his mission, and far beyond!
Thanks for all your support of Ethan. He is doing well and enjoying his mission.
