Hey everyone!
Hope all is well with you guys, wherever you are. This week was pretty good. Thanks for all of your prayers for Troy and Michael. They both watched General Conference and really enjoyed it. And we had a good lesson with Michael. So I'm really seeing how the gospel helps him focus and make him happier in his life.
Speaking of Conference, it was awesome! If you haven't watched it or are curious about what the prophet and apostles talk about, you should check it out. Every single talk focused on Christ.
I don't really have anything else to talk about. I'll send some pictures that I took though.
Thanks for all of your prayers and support!

PS. Here is some info about the pictures, at least what I know.
This picture is from last week when the elders went to check out the cave. This definitely isn't a cave to go to if you are a fat man (haha). Ethan wanted me to know that everyone got home safely before he sent this picture so he waited a week. 😉 It looks like he was pretty happy in the enclosed space.
The elders in Ethan's district got together to watch General Conference together. They got a tv and computer from one of the clerk's offices and set it up in the church to watch Conference. They would take breaks for food but one of the wards had a funeral and they gave the elders the leftover funeral food. They ate sandwiches and stuff for lunch on Sunday.
There is a member in the ward who tells the elders that if they don't have a dinner appointment or one falls through to give her a call and she will always feed them. They decided to put her to the test on Saturday night. She called in an order for 2 medium pizzas and a brownie/cookie thing from Dominos. Ethan was really happy. It's nice to know they are taken care of. They get $70 everyone 2 to 3 weeks for food. But Ethan said he is an adult and, if he runs out of food money, he just eats ramen. 😉 He has an emergency stash of ramen in case he ever needs it. He said he hasn't broken into it yet. He is hilarious!
I don't know the story behind the random chicken and dog pictures but they are funny. Ethan sent us a video last week that showed about 12 turkeys hanging out at a house. He was amazed to see so many turkeys in one place and not in pens. He tried to go up to one to see if it was friendly, but it ran off.
The sunsets are so beautiful in Wyoming so Ethan sends us pictures of those a lot.
The people keep telling Ethan how cold it will get in Wyoming and how strong the cold winds are during the winter. He said it's kind of annoying to hear over and over. He tells them that he was in Riverton last winter and did just fine. They admit that Riverton does get cold but warn him again that he is going to freeze. So Ethan is going to walk around in a light coat and try to prove them wrong. 😉 This should be a fun winter. Transfers are on the 28th. Ethan thinks he will probably be transferred since he has been in Casper for so long. Who knows where he will be when it gets really cold. But Ethan is really looking forward to the cooler weather. He wants to experience a really cold Wyoming winter. The people have told him that there are 2 winters - one that comes in October and then goes away and one that comes in November and stays. They haven't had "first Winter" and it's supposed to be in the 80s in Casper today (much warmer than it will be in Ivins!). This isn't the weather he expected.
